Wigan Warriors: Scott Taylor wants England place
Wigan's new signing Scott Taylor hopes his experience with the England Knights will enhance his prospects of a regular spot in the senior national squad.
was confirmed on Tuesday, with the Warriors paying a "substantial settlement fee".
The 21-year-old told BBC Radio Manchester: "It tests you, brings more out of your game and it matures you.
"Hopefully it's the first stepping stone to try and cement myself in the full England squad in the future."
The loose forward, who has signed a two-year deal with the option of a third, made his full England debut against the Exiles in July and is part of the Knights squad that will take on Ireland and Scotland before the end of the month.

"I know a few of the other guys there [at Wigan] but I know Greeny really well," he added. "If I could have taken one bloke there with me, he would have been top of the list. I'm really happy that he's going there as well.
"I enjoyed every minute at Hull KR and I owe a lot to Hull KR for what they've done for me.
"They know what they're doing. They've already signed a few blokes and they're obviously still wanting to move forward as a club. I wish them the best of luck.
"I think they'll go far because they've got a great set of lads there who will always compete. They'll be giving a lot of teams a run for their money next year."
