South Sydney prop Luke Burgess has been called up by England to replace suspended James Graham for the autumn international series.

Burgess, 25, joins up with Steve McNamara's squad for the matches against Wales and France but brother Sam misses out due to knee surgery.

Canterbury Bulldogs prop Graham has been banned for 12 games for biting.

Warrington pair Ryan Atkins (shoulder) and Ben Westwood (leg) have also withdrawn from the squad.

They have been replaced by Wigan second rower Liam Farrell and Warrington team-mates Ben Harrison and Stefan Ratchford.

Burgess will take Graham's place on a training camp in South Africa and could win his first cap against Wales in Wrexham on 27 October.

Graham will remain part of the squad for the matches but will not travel to Potchefstroom for the camp.
