Tanner explains Campbell omission

Great Britain performance director Sir David Tanner says sculler Alan Campbell was left out of the World Championships squad because of disappointing recent form.

Tanner explained that the Olympic bronze medallist from Northern Ireland did not meet the qualification standard in the World Cup event in Lucerne and believed there is "something not right" with the rower.

Campbell said he was "devastated" by his omission from next month's World Championships in Amsterdam.
