Crowd helped us, say Team GB gold medal-winning athletes

Olympic athletes Greg Rutherford and Jessica Ennis have spoken of their joy at winning gold at the London 2012 Olympics.

Speaking at a joint news briefing, Rutherford said he was running on adrenaline and was still trying to mentally process his win in the long jump.

Ennis spoke of the pressure to win and said the crowd had helped her obtain gold in the heptathlon.
