GB pipped for gold in dramatic finish

Great Britain's Zac Purchase and Mark Hunter are overhauled by Danish pair Mads Rasmussen and Rasmus Quist in the last quarter of the lightweight men's double scull race.

The Britons, who were gold medallists four years ago in Beijing, held the lead for most of the race but were edged into silver after a hard-fought battle in the last quarter.

There was drama at the start of the final as Zac Purchase's seat broke underneath him and the race had to be restarted.
