Federer into final after epic match

Switzerland's Roger Federer reaches the men's tennis final at the London 2012 Olympics after beating Argentina's Juan Martin Del Potro in a match that lasted a record four hours and 26 minutes.

Del Potro won the opening set 6-3 before Federer hit back to take the match into a deciding set.

The world number one converted only two of 13 break-point chances, the second coming in the next-to-last game as he eventually won 19-17.
