Three Ulster teams represented on All Stars' nominations list

Armagh's Caroline O'Hanlon

A total of twelve players from Ulster ladies football teams have made the list of All Star nominations.

League champions Monaghan have had their season recognised with nine nominees on the 45-strong list.

Armagh's Caroline O'Hanlon and Laura Browne are included after the county won the All-Ireland intermediate title in Croke Park last weekend.

Antrim goalkeeper Ciara McCoy also makes the cut after helping the county win the All-Ireland junior title.

Ulster's representation on ladies' All Star nominations list:

Goalkeepers - Ciara McCoy (Antrim), Linda Martin (Monaghan);

Full-backs - Grainne McNally (Monaghan), Sharon Courtney (Monaghan), Christina Reilly (Monaghan), Laura Browne (Armagh);

Half-backs - Aoife McAnespie (Monaghan);

Midfield - Amanda Casey (Monaghan), Caroline O'Hanlon (Armagh);

Half-forwards - Ciara McAnespie (Monaghan);

Full-forwards - Catriona McConnell (Monaghan), Niamh Kindlon (Monaghan)
