'Hammers are Champions League contenders'

Chelsea v West Ham (15:00 GMT)

Simon Brotherton

Match of the Day commentator at Stamford Bridge

"Claudio Ranieri is a shoo-in for manager of the year, but Slaven Bilic should be on the podium too, with West Ham now genuine contenders for Champions League football.

"They're only a couple of points behind Manchester City and have only lost two of the last 16 league games.

"This looks a good time for the Hammers to go to Stamford Bridge, with Chelsea hardly on the crest of a wave after being knocked out of both the Champions League and FA Cup in their last two matches.

"Guus Hiddink has steadied the ship well, and they remain undefeated in the Premier League since his return, but too many draws have limited their progress up the table."
