Max Whitlock and Rebecca Tunney win British titles
Max Whitlock and Rebecca Tunney won their respective British all-around titles at Liverpool's Echo Arena.
Whitlock, 21, retained the men's title, beating Dan Purvis and Dan Keatings into second and third respectively.
Tunney, 17, regained the women's all-around title she was unable to defend last year through injury, ahead of Rebecca Downie and Claudia Fragapane.
Olympic silver medallist Louis Smith, in his second event since returning, was third in the pommel horse.
The 24-year-old, who took a break after winning individual silver and a team bronze at London 2012, said: "Hopefully in a few months' time I should be right back to the top. I've surprised myself and I think I've surprised a few other people as well."
Smith is hoping to secure a place in the England team for this summer's Commonwealth Games.
Whitlock, who won team bronze alongside Smith in London, said: "The British Championships mean a lot to me, and to retain that title is really great."
Tunney, Britain's youngest Olympian two years ago, said: "I just wanted to come out and prove to myself that even with my injuries I could still give my best performance."
