17-year-old's historic quadruple twist

Japan's Kenzo Shirai becomes the first athlete to perform a quadruple twist at a major event as he wins gold in the floor at the World Championships in Antwerp.

The 17-year-old performed the feat at the end of a dazzling routine which drew applause from both the crowd and his fellow competitors.

Britain's Daniel Purvis, who was edged out of the medals by the winning routine, finished fourth and described Shirai's routine as "unreal".
