Whitlock topples Purvis to take GB title

Max Whitlock is delighted with his "great achievement" after winning the men's all-around at the British Gymnastics Championships in Liverpool.

The 20-year-old took victory with 90.650 points, while defending champion Dan Purvis finished second with Matthew Firch in third.

Whitlock says he is increasing the difficulty of his Olympic routines and hopes he will now make the GB squad for April's European Championships.
