McIlroy optimistic despite opening defeat

Rory McIlroy is confident he can recover from his defeat by Matt Kuchar and remain in contention at the World Golf Final in Turkey.

The world number one plays Charl Schwartzel and Tiger Woods on Wednesday, knowing he needs two victories to make the semi-finals.

McIlroy admitted he "gave up a little bit" after running into trouble in the closing holes of the match against Kuchar.
