F1 engines far too expensive - Head

Patrick Head, the former director of engineering for Williams, believes that the new hybrid F1 engines are "far too expensive".

Head was the co-founder of the Williams Formula 1 team in the 1970s but resigned as director of engineering in 2012. However, he continues to work with Williams Hybrid Power Limited.

Speaking to Tom Clarkson, Head says that Formula 1 should be more about the drivers and entertainment than demonstrating the benefits of hybrid technology.
