Jean Todt, the president of governing body the FIA, said in a news conference the decision to have no in-season testing was "stupid". Todt also said he would not abandon plans to introduce 1.6-litre turbocharged engines in 2013, despite opposition from Ferrari and F1 commercial boss Bernie Ecclestone. Tyre supplie Pirelli will supply the soft and super-soft tyres at June's Canadian Grand Prix, as in Monaco. At the European Grand Prix in Valencia, it will be the medium and super-soft, and the British Grand Prix will see the hard and soft tyres used. (Pirelli)
