Man City defending worries Pellegrini

Manchester City manager Manuel Pellegrini admits he is concerned by his team's lack of creativity, and by their defending, after the Premier League champions lost 1-0 at home to Stoke.

Mame Biram Diouf scored the only goal of the match, running 70 yards with the ball before slotting under Joe Hart. City could have had a late penalty but Yaya Toure was booked for diving.

This was only the second time in their last 71 Premier League home games that Manchester City have failed to score, the last being a 1-0 home defeat to Chelsea in February 2014.
