I loved being the world's most expensive player - Alan Shearer

In the wake of Angel Di Maria's transfer to Manchester United for a British record fee of £59.7m, BBC Sport pundit Alan Shearer shares his experience of the pressure that came with such a label.

Shearer says he "loved being the world's most expensive player" after signing for Newcastle United from Blackburn for £15m in 1996.

The former England captain also does not believe the transfer market has reached its peak and the money spent by clubs will "only get bigger".
