Roy Hodgson says England have not let anyone down

England manager Roy Hodgson says none of his players "have let the country down" in the wake of their 2-1 defeat to Uruguay that puts them on the brink of World Cup elimination.

A Luis Suarez double either side of a Wayne Rooney equaliser means England have to comfortably beat Costa Rica in their last group game and hope Italy win their remaining games to stand any chance of qualification for the knockout stages.
