Saints should keep top stars - Cortese

Ex-Southampton chairman Nicola Cortese says the Premier League club should not sell their top young players if they want to progress in the Premier League next season.

Speaking to BBC Sport's Ben Smith, Cortese also talks about his five-year plan for Saints before he departed in January.

The 45-year-old Italian businessman took over at Southampton in 2009 when they were in League One and they were in the top half of the Premier League when he quit.
