Newcastle 3-0 Cardiff: Alan Pardew understands fan abuse

Newcastle manager Alan Pardew says he understands why fans of the club are frustrated despite their 3-0 win over Cardiff City.

Shola Ameobi, Loic Remy and Steven Taylor all scored to stop a six game losing streak for the Magpies and relegate Cardiff in the process.

Newcastle's last trophy win came in 1969 with the Fairs Cup, and some Magpies supporters left St James' Park in the 69th minute of the match, protesting against the way the club is being run.
