Arbroath 1-2 Dunfermline Athletic

Arbroath remain bottom of the League One table going into the final weekend of the season after defeat at home by second-top Dunfermline Athletic.

Andrew Geggan struck 11 minutes from time to prevent Arbroath moving above East Fife into ninth in the table.

Ryan Thomson sent the Pars into a 14th-minute lead, following up after Scott Morrison failed to hold Stephen Husband's shot.

Michael Travis forced the ball home from a corner after 56 minutes.

It was a deserved equaliser for the Red Lichties, for whom Robert Linn had fired narrowly wide earlier.

However, with the game approaching the final 10 minutes, Geggan popped up to slot in from close range and secure a first win in four outings for the visitors.
