East Fife 1-2 Stenhousemuir

A 90th-minute penalty from Sean Higgins put Stenhousemuir in the mix for the play-offs as struggling East Fife lost at home.

The home side took the lead in the first half when Stephen Hughes lashed Kevin Smith's cross past Chris Smith.

But Sean Dickson headed in from a Higgins corner to level matters.

And, after David Cowan had fouled Josh Watt, Higgins converted from 12 yards to put Stenny level on points with fourth-place Ayr United.
