Peterborough United 1-0 Coventry City
Peterborough edged closer to securing their place in the League One play-offs with a narrow win over Coventry.
South Africa international Kgosi Ntlhe scored the only goal of the game early on, his bullet header from Danny Swanson's corner putting Posh in front.
Cyrus Christie wasted a chance to draw Coventry level, heading wide from a free-kick late in the first half.
Nathan Eccleston sliced wide from 12 yards as the Sky Blues pressed but Peterborough held on to earn the win.
Darren Ferguson's sixth-placed side now hold a seven-point cushion over the chasing pack in the race for the play-offs with four games remaining.
Coventry City manager Steven Pressley told BBC Coventry & Warwickshire:
"I'm struggling to find out how we didn't get something from the game. The opening 20 minutes were disappointing from our respect.
"For the remainder of the half after the goal we were very much the dominant force, and then all second half we penned them in, and we had three or four unbelievable chances to get a goal. Unfortunately we didn't do so and on a couple of occasions the quality let us down.
"I've seen a lot of good signs for 70 minutes of the game. There were many pleasing aspects, but ultimately football is about winning games, and we have to ensure between now and the end of the season that we win games to ensure our League One status."
