Rodgers 'enjoying' push for title

Brendan Rodgers says he is "enjoying being up there" as Liverpool's 2-1 win over Sunderland lifts them into second place in the Premier League.

Rodgers also praises "top-class talents" Daniel Sturridge and Luis Suarez. Sturridge's second-half goal means two Liverpool strikers have scored 20 league goals in a season for the first time for 50 years.

Captain Steven Gerrard curled home the opening goal from a 23-yard free-kick and Sturridge made it 2-0 just after half-time. Ki Sung-Yueng pulled one back for Sunderland with 14 minutes remaining.
