Bruce 'baffled' by 'ludicrous' decision

Hull manager Steve Bruce says he was "baffled" by referee Mike Dean's decision to send off goalkeeper Allan McGregor in the 2-1 defeat at West Ham.

Bruce says he "has a right to be disappointed" and calls on officials to show "more common sense" after McGregor suffered an injury to his kidneys as he conceded a penalty before being shown the red card.

Despite Nikica Jelavic's deflected equaliser, the night ended on another sour note for Hull as a calamitous James Chester own goal proved the difference between the two sides.
