Magath targets home wins to survive

Fulham boss Felix Magath says his players lacked the "belief" that they could come back and beat Manchester City after the hosts scored a contentious first-half penalty in their 5-0 victory. over the Premier League's bottom club.

Magath had been pleased with his team's performance up until the penalty in the 26th minute, which "changed the atmosphere." Yaya Toure converted the spot kick on his way to scoring a hat-trick, before Fernandinho and Martin Demichelis turned it into a rout late on.

The German insists his team were not expected to leave Eastlands with anything and their Premier League fate rests on "winning our home games, starting with Everton next week."
