York City 2-0 Wycombe Wanderers
Two first-half goals saw play-off chasing York City win their fourth game in a row and beat Wycombe.
The hosts took an early lead as Sam Togwell fouled Josh Carson and Ryan Bowman converted the resulting penalty.
City had a Keith Lowe header disallowed but soon doubled their lead when Carson received the ball from Will Hayhurst and fired in from the edge of the box.
Wycombe's woes were added to when debutant Togwell was sent off for a second bookable offence in injury time.
York City manager Nigel Worthington told BBC Radio York:
"That first 45 minutes today was probably as good as I've seen.
"The movement, the energy, the invention within the team was fantastic.
"We would love to do that for the course of 90 minutes but you know at some stage the opposition's going to try and stop you or help you in some way.
"In the second half there was a stiff breeze in our face but we kept a clean sheet, we stayed in control, we kept Wycombe at bay and it's a big three points."
Wycombe Wanderers boss Gareth Ainsworth told BBC Three Counties Radio:
"The wind was right in our face and York obviously knew what they were doing. They turned us round straight from the kick off and took advantage of the wind up here.
"We didn't get going for 10 minutes and by that time we were 1-0 down with a soft penalty, and you can't afford to do that, especially where we are in the league.
"I was disappointed today. Disappointed with a few performances; they were well under par of what they've shown in recent weeks.
"The second goal, just before half time was absolute comedy for me. Our corner, and then they score from our corner. You work that one out."
