Bradford City 1-1 Gillingham

Cody McDonald's equaliser earned Gillingham a draw at Bradford as both sides stay level on points in the middle of League One.

The home side led early on through Aaron McLean's close-range half-volley, his first goal since joining the Bantams from Hull in January.

Bradford controlled the first half but Gillingham fought back after the break.

Gills substitute Adebayo Akinfenwa fed McDonald who slotted the ball past goalkeeper Jon McLaughlin for a point.

Post match: Gillingham boss Taylor

Gillingham manager Peter Taylor told BBC Radio Kent:

"It was a very disappointing goal for us to concede because we had the ball and tried to play a bit of football, but I think we just made the wrong decision and in the end lost it.

"We could get back in it if we stuck together and I think the boys certainly did that.

"Any game we play away from home, a point is good. There are certain games we play at home where a point is good so I'm very happy. That's three matches now unbeaten - that's good for us in our situation."
