AFC Wimbledon 0-1 York City

Michael Coulson struck the decisive goal for the second weekend running as York made it three wins in four games with victory over fellow play-off-chasers AFC Wimbledon.

Danny Hylton had one shot blocked and then fired wide for Wimbledon.

York took the lead thanks to Coulson's header just before the break.

The visitors were denied a penalty when Josh Carson's shot appeared to be blocked by an arm, while Ryan Bowman missed an open goal for York.

York boss Nigel Worthington told BBC Radio York:

Post-match: York boss Nigel Worthington

"There were certainly two very clear-cut chances that we didn't take on the day, but hopefully we're keeping them for another day.

"But [it was] a real fantastic, solid, professional performance from everyone. Everyone put a shift in to get us through that second half.

"We said it at half-time, we are not sitting back on that 1- 0. You know you're going to get pressure from them and it's about having the courage and belief to deal with it and we dealt with it in good style."
