Wenger praises Giroud's 'character'

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger hails striker Olivier Giroud as a "strong character" after the 4-1 victory over Sunderland.

Giroud marked his return to first-team action with two vital goals for the Gunners. Tomas Rosicky clipped home a third after a neat Arsenal passing move, with Laurent Koscielny heading the fourth.

Arsenal remain in second place in the Premier League table, just one point behind leaders Chelsea.
