Everton lacked awareness - Martinez

Roberto Martinez says Everton "lacked defensive awareness" after they were thrashed 4-0 by Liverpool in the Merseyside derby.

The Toffees boss also says a knee injury to top scorer Romelu Lukaku "doesn't look too good" after the Belgian was carried off shortly after Steven Gerrard's opening goal.

The defeat was Everton's worst result in a derby since 1982 when they lost 5-0 at Goodison Park.
