Poyet had to change Sunderland 'mentality'

Sunderland boss Gus Poyet tells Football Focus he had to work on the "mental" side of the team when he took over as boss as they seemed unable to play well in the second half of games.

Poyet, who took over from Paolo Di Canio in October, says it was difficult for the players when he arrived at the club to react and raise their game after half-time.

The former Brighton boss also explains how he has had to adapt to the different characters in the squad and that he treats every player individually rather than as a group.
