Yeovil Town 4-0 Leyton Orient

Yeovil Town thrashed League One promotion-chasers Leyton Orient to reach the fourth round of the FA Cup.

Veteran striker James Hayter gave the Glovers an early lead with a close-range header.

The hosts doubled their lead shortly after the break when Joel Grant guided in Liam Davis's cross.

Hayter then grabbed his second with a glancing header from Kevin Dawson's centre, before Kieffer Moore's slotted finish rounded off the scoring.

Yeovil, whose best FA Cup run was achieved as a non-league team when they reached the fifth round in 1949, have secured a place in the fourth round for the first time in nine years.

Post-match: Yeovil boss Johnson

"The first thing we have to say is that the work put in before the game was magnificent and above the call of duty - from stewards and ground staff, everybody.

"So credit to everybody for getting the game on and we didn't want to let them down, and I don't feel the boys did.

"I think there was a good work rate all around and four good goals. People have gone home happy that we have got the result."
