Crawley Town 1-0 Notts County

Mark Connolly's header gave Crawley the points against struggling Notts County.

The hosts won it when Connolly powered past visiting keeper Bart Bialkowski from a Nicky Adams corner.

The margin could have been wider, but for an impressive display by Bialkowski and some wayward finishing from Mike Jones, Andy Drury and Emile Sinclair.

Notts ended the game with 10 men after full-back Alan Sheehan, who had earlier hit a post, saw red for a second bookable offence.

Post-match: Crawley manager Gregory

"We dedicate that win to Dannie Bulman, who unfortunately wasn't with us and could be out for some considerable time. We went to see him this morning and his face is still swollen from the weekend but we went out there and wanted to win it for him.

"It was the most one-sided 1-0 you've ever seen in your life because we've just had a count up and I think we've had 20 shots on goal and only scored one.

"I have to say their goalkeeper played particularly well, he was outstanding. I think he's on loan from Southampton so I might be on the phone to them if we ever lose big Jonesy (Paul Jones). But the game was really one-sided and I am delighted with my boys' energy."
