Rodgers influenced my decision - Suarez

Striker Luis Suarez is "very happy" to sign a new four-and-a-half-year contract at Liverpool, saying manager Brendan Rodgers helped influence his decision.

The Uruguay international, 26, joined the Reds in January 2011 and has scored 17 goals in 11 Premier League starts this season.

Suarez talks about his "love" for the city of Liverpool and the fans, who stuck by him when he was suspended for the first 10 matches of this season for biting Chelsea's Branislav Ivanovic.
