AFC Wimbledon 0-1 Southend United

Fulham loanee Cauley Woodrow netted the winner as Southend United notched a vital victory against 10-man AFC Wimbledon.

George Francomb nearly put the Dons ahead when he forced Southend keeper Daniel Bentley to tip his effort wide.

Francomb was then shown a straight red card for a hard tackle on Robert Kiernan just before the break.

Southend made their extra player tell when Woodrow powered in a late header to seal three points for the visitors.
