Bayern Munich: Arjen Robben scores twice as leaders win
Arjen Robben scored twice as Bundesliga leaders Bayern Munich extended their unbeaten league run to 39 games with victory over bottom-of-the-table Eintracht Braunschweig.
The Dutch winger headed in an early opener before getting the better of two defenders to add a second.
David Alaba produced a stunning goal line clearance to deny Braunschweig's Karim Bellarabi.
Bayern top the table with 38 points, four ahead of Bayer Leverkusen.
Victory never looked in doubt for Pep Guardiola's men, who were in control throughout.
They opened the scoring when Robben's first shot hit the post and the Netherlands international reacted quickly to head home the rebound.
Braunschweig, who did not manage a single shot on target inside the first 45 minutes, fell further behind when Robben got his second on the half-hour with a fine individual effort.
The former Chelsea player jinked in from the right and got the better of two defenders before firing in from 15 yards.
Simeon Jackson and Ermin Bicakcic failed to make the most of second-half chances for the visitors, who were denied what seemed a certain goal when Alaba acrobatically cleared Bellarabi's effort off the line.
Robben went close to completing his hat-trick with a free-kick that clipped the top of the crossbar.
