Stoke controlled the game - Hughes

Stoke manager Mark Hughes believes his side were always "in control" of the game during their 2-0 home win against Sunderland.

Goals from Charlie Adam and Steven Nzonzi secured victory, after Sunderland's Wes Brown was sent off in the 36th-minute.

The victory was the first in nine Premier League matches for Stoke.
