Bury 1-0 Hartlepool United
On-loan striker Daniel Nardiello scored his first goal for Bury as the Shakers beat Hartlepool to claim their first home win since 31 August.
Nardiello, who was making his second start for Bury after joining from Rotherham, curled in from long range just after half-time.
He earlier failed to beat Pools keeper Scott Flinders in search of an opener.
At the other end, Dean Howell's goal-line clearance to deny a late Luke James effort secured all three points.
Hartlepool included midfielder Matty Dolan after he extended his loan spell from Middlesbrough earlier on Tuesday.

Bury manager Ronnie Jepson told BBC Radio Manchester:
"It's great for the supporters and especially for the players. We keep working them and asking them to do certain things and they've stuck to their task.
"It would have been two 1-0 wins on the spin if it hadn't been for one little slip on Saturday.
"We saw the game out quite easily. It would have been nice to get that second goal but it wasn't to be."
