Ards come from a goal down to beat Coleraine 3-1 at Clandeboye and move off the bottom of the league table.

Ards moved off the bottom of the Premiership table as two James Cully goals helped them beat struggling Coleraine at Clandeboye Park.

Ards custodian Graeme McKibbin denied Gary Browne and Gareth Tommons in the first half with Wayne Drummond stopping a William Faulkner effort.

Eoin Bradley put Coleraine ahead on 58 but James Cully levelled on 65 before slotting a penalty eight minutes later.

Andy Mitchell made the points secure with the third Ards goal on 79.

William Faulkner impressed for Ards once again as he tested Drummond early on before McKibbin did well to deny Browne and Tommons in quick succession.

Derry GAA star Bradley gave Coleraine the lead 13 minutes into the second half but Ards were on terms within seven minutes as Cully levelled after a Stephen McCullough free kick.

Cully then struck Ards ahead from the penalty spot on 73 minutes after Drummond was adjudged to have brought down the speedy Faulkner.

Mitchell strode clear of a static Coleraine defence before slotting the third Ards goal 11 minutes from time as the Bannsiders's dismal run of away form continued.

The win moves Ards up to 11th in the table with Warrenpoint now bottom.
