Martin O'Neill and Roy Keane excited by Republic of Ireland roles

The new Republic of Ireland coaching team of Martin O'Neill and Roy Keane say they are both looking forward to their new roles.

The Republic parted company with Giovanni Trapattoni in September after failing to qualify for the World Cup and have appointed O'Neill as manager and Keane as assistant boss on a two-year deal.

O'Neill, the former Leicester City and Sunderland manager, jokes that he will be the "bad cop" of the duo while saying Keane will be the "bad, bad cop".
