Nuneaton Town 1-1 Braintree Town

Theo Streete's first goal for Nuneaton earned a point against Braintree and secured their third consecutive draw.

Matt Paine put the visitors in front when he headed in from Alan Massey's cross.

James Armson should have drawn the hosts level but somehow missed the target with the goal at his mercy.

However, Nuneaton levelled just after the hour mark through Streete's tidy finish to leave them in fifth place in the Conference Premier table.

Braintree Town assistant manager Keith Rowland told BBC Essex:

"The first 30 minutes, I thought we were excellent to a point where they couldn't get to grips with us.

"We were pushing for the second goal and that would have made all the difference in the game.

"To be fair to them, they came right after us in the second half but we knew they were going to do it.

"We didn't hold on to the ball well enough. One thing we have learned is when we lose, we come away to the next game and make sure we pick something up and we've done that."
