Pardew wants Magpies consistency

Newcastle manager Alan Pardew admits his side need "consistency" as they prepare to face Cardiff in the Premier League on Saturday.

The Magpies have lost their last two league games, and sit only two places above the relegation zone.

But Pardew said he has "great respect" for his players, and believes they can get a result against the Bluebirds, who have "impressed" him so far this season.
