Gateshead 2-0 Dartford

Gateshead secured their third win in four games with a comfortable victory over Dartford.

The hosts dominated for long periods and took the lead through James Marwood's first-time effort following a Craig Baxter centre.

Rob Ramshaw doubled the home side's lead with a glancing header from close range, his first goal for the club.

Elliot Bradbrook came closest to scoring for the visitors but his late header hit the crossbar.

Post match: Dartford manager Burman

"I'm very disappointed with the performance.

"I don't think it was a lack of fight, it was a lack of intelligence.

"If you continually give the ball away after you've worked hard to win it back you get punished.

"It wasn't right and I've got to take the blame for that. I have to look at my team selection and it could be today I got that wrong."
