Ball 'not sure' of Sunderland future

Caretaker manager Kevin Ball says he "really enjoyed" being back in the Sunderland dugout, but is "not sure" how long he will remain in charge after taking over from the recently sacked Paolo Di Canio.

Di Canio was sacked on Sunday after a player revolt led to his dismissal and was temporarily replaced by Ball, who helped the Black Cats reach the fourth round of the League Cup with a 2-0 win over Peterborough on Tuesday.

Ball says the players have been "fine" since Di Canio's departure, and they played in the "right manner" to recover from their 3-0 defeat against West Brom at the weekend.
