Thrilling finish as Italy beat Denmark

Italy beat Denmark 2-1 in an entertaining match in the Women's European Championships in Sweden.

Melania Gabbiadini gave the Azzurre the lead in the second-half before substitute Ilaria Mauro doubled their lead with a close-range header.

The Danes hit back when Mia Brogaard finished off an excellent team goal, but Italy held on for a win to add to their opening draw against Finland.
