Wigan hurt themselves - Martinez

Roberto Martinez says Wigan "hurt themselves" and "created their own problems" following a 3-2 defeat at home to his former club Swansea.

The Latics manager laments a "difficult day" for his side, admitting they "couldn't handle" Swansea's second half pressure after they twice took the lead at the DW Stadium.

Wigan now lie three points adrift of safety with two games of the Premier League season remaining, and face Manchester City in the FA Cup final this Saturday afternoon.
