Van Persie showed bottle - Ferguson

Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson says "it took bottle" for Robin van Persie to convert a penalty against former club Arsenal in a 1-1 draw at the Emirates.
Arsenal went ahead through Theo Walcott after just two minutes but United's top scorer Van Persie, who was booed during a guard of honour before the match, stepped up to equalise from the spot after Bacary Sagna brought him down just before half-time.
Van Persie's 29th goal in all competitions this season was not enough to give United the victory they needed to keep alive their hopes of breaking the record Premier League points total of 95.
