Annan 0-1 Stirling Albion

Stirling leapfrogged Annan in the Third Division table courtesy of a win at Galabank.

Greig McDonald's side climbed up to seventh in the table with their first win in four games.

Stephen Day grabbed the winner, heading in Kieran McAnespie's free-kick from close range.

Stirling almost doubled their lead when Scott Davidson's audacious lob from 35 yards narrowly went wide.

Scott Chaplain had a chance to bring Annan level on the stroke of half-time, but the midfielder fired over from the edge of the box.

Jordan White came close to putting the Binos 2-0 up when his free-kick rattled the Annan crossbar, but the score remained the same.
