Woking 5-4 Macclesfield

Woking's five goals in the first half were enough to stave off a sensational second-half comeback from Macclesfield.

The hosts found themselves 2-0 ahead after seven minutes through Billy Knott and Kevin Betsy.

Jayden Stockley netted a penalty, awarded for Jack Mackreth's foul on Knott, and added a second before Knott also grabbed another to make it 5-0.

But a spirited Macc hit back - Waide Fairhurst scored twice, while Guy Madjo and Arthur Gnahoua also found the net.

Hill frustrated despite Woking win

"I think we played some very good football first half and when you're 5-0 up at half-time the game should be over.

"It's very frustrating as a manager and when you watch that, they get a goal which didn't affect us but all of sudden we deteriorated quickly.

"We didn't work second half and there's no excuses. I'm very disappointed."
