Rooney rumours nonsense - Ferguson

Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson says reports suggesting Wayne Rooney could leave the club are "absolute nonsense" and reveals he has banned two newspapers from his media conference "until they apologise" for the Rooney story.

Speaking to the media for the first time since Nani's sending off in the 3-2 aggregate loss to Real Madrid, Ferguson said: "This is the third time we've been knocked out by the referee's decision, it's not easy to take."

Uefa is taking action against Manchester United for Ferguson's "non-fulfilment of post-match media obligations" at Old Trafford, as well as the fact that the required two players did not talk to the media.
